Neil Collins Films - Wedding @ Blackstock Country Estate, Sussex

Here’s David & Sarah’s wedding from Blackstock Country Estate in Sussex filmed in February this year.

Unfortunately David & Sarah weren’t overly lucky with the weather on their wedding day @ Blackstock Country Estate in Sussex but it is the UK so the weather is never guaranteed! Whilst it literally put a bit of a dampner on some aspects of the day its only weather and it was still a gorgeous wedding.

David & Sarah wrote lovely letters to each other and Davids to Sarah included the other person in their lives, their awesome little dog Dougie. Whilst Dougie couldn’t spend the whole day he was indeed a very distinguished guest complete with his colour co-ordinated bow tie. Dougie makes an appearance in the film, look out for him!

Blackstock Country Estate in Sussex is such a lovely venue complete with its very own Alpacas & Emu’s& what’s not to like about a wedding with Alpaca’s & Emu’s? David & Sarah chose a gorgeous yellow colour theme for the wedding and the venue was decorated beautifully by Inspirations and matched perfectly with the Daffodils @ Blackstock Country Estate which were in full bloom!

The guests got a real treat @ dinner from Singing Waiter Masters. Singing waiters are a great addition to any wedding and a brilliant way to get the guests up and dancing! These guys were amazing, brilliantly talented and a complete surprise for the guests, a lovely touch from David & Sarah. They blended in perfectly with the waiting staff @ Blackstock Country Estate and fooled everyone, brilliantly executed. Nessun Dorma was a particular highlight for me!

This was followed by the brilliant magic of Kevin Morton. Seeing magic close up is a real treat and fabulous to watch and a great way of getting the guests involved. I always think the more magicians I film the more chance I have of working out how they do it right? In reality I haven’t got a clue!

I said we were unlucky with the weather but that’s not strictly true, just before sunset the skies cleared and we were lucky to get the most amazing rainbow and sunset shoot which was a huge bonus and a great addition to David & Sarah’s wedding film.
